Nancy graduated from John Harris High School in 1948. She was a devoted, life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in downtown Harrisburg where she served on the vestry, church council and alter guild and was a member of the fellowship class. Nancy had a very caring soul and was loved dearly by family and friends. She enjoyed travel, but found the greatest pleasure in the simple things: hand-in-hand walks with her husband, holiday gatherings, visits with the family and friends, baking and decorating special birthday cakes, gardening, craftwork, and feeding her backyard birds and chipmunks.
