Lauck Lose Kibler, 83, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully Monday, October 2, 2017, at Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born in Tonawanda, NY, on November 16, 1933, the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Kibler.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara C. Kibler; his daughter, Laura Brown and husband Craig; three grandchildren, Travis Brown, Ryan Brown and Trent Brown; and 4 great-grandchildren; his son, Daniel Kibler and wife Tracy Kibler of Mechanicsburg; his son, Thomas Kibler; and three grandchildren, Dakota Kibler, Krey Kibler, and Drew Kibler.

He was preceded in death by his only brother, Bill Kibler of Tonawanda, NY.

Lauck attended Park School in Buffalo, NY and was a graduate of the Class of 1956 from Allegheny College. He served out country while being stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, following WWII with the 3rd armored division as a medic. After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked for Scott Paper Company, was the owner of Lums Restaurant, and finished his career as a manager with PMI.

Lauck enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He also loved animals and found people very interesting.

There will be no viewing.

A private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
